Asiwaju Bola Tinubu
In what has become Nigeria’s billion naira show, Daar Communications Plc, parent company of African Independent Television (AIT) has rejected in the demands of Tunji Abayomi and co on behalf of Bola Tinubu over a documentary titled “Unmasking The Real Tinubu” transmitted on AIT and has even demanded 100
billion naira as punitive damages.
It would be recalled that Abayomi, counsel to Tinubu, demanded N20 billiion (Twenty Billion Naira) as cost of damage done to the reputation of Tinubu after the documentary was aired on AIT.
Abayomi stated that the documentary “clearly pre-occupied with political resentment and hatred”.
