A 52-year-old jobless man has been arrested and charged before Ojokoro Magistrate’s Court, in Lagos, western Nigeria for allegedly battering his wife for failing to give him feeding allowance.
The man, Sylvester Ogwu, was said to be out of job and was angry that his wife, Caroline Ogwu, left home on the fateful day without giving him any money for food for the family.
P.M.NEWS gathered that Ogwu rained blows on his wife as she was preparing to go to work in the morning on the day the incident happened.
