Muhammadu Buhari: promises pensioners a better deal
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari has promised to alleviate the plight of pensioners across the country when he becomes president.
In a statement issued by Garba Shehu, Directorate of Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Organisation, he said Buhari, who spoke while being presented with petition signed by a group of ex-servicemen protesting their treatment by the PDP-administration in the country, said that he is “saddened by the current situation of military, police and all other pensioners.”
