Nigeria’s election: Obama makes timely appeal for peace

Amidst apprehensions that the Nigeria’s elections could be marred by state-induced violence and intimidation and the people’s will crushed, President Barack Obama has weighed in with a timely appeal to both the leaders and the people.
In a video and text message, Obama urged Nigerians to ensure they had a credible poll, which must be free, fair and peaceful.
