Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State
Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state today approved the sum of N1.5 billion for the payment of salary deductions and cooperative dues. The money will also cover the deductions from salaries that has affected both state and local government workers.
Prior to the downturn in the Federal allocation and economy, the State Government had been remitting salary deductions as at when due.
The present administration also cleared the arrears inherited from the past administration of Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
But the downturn affected both the federal allocation and Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, thereby creating fresh arrears.
