No fewer than 221 candidates are contesting for the 40 seats in the Lagos House of Assembly on different platforms in Saturday’s elections, a list of the contestants has shown.
NAN reports that Governorship and Houses of Assembly elections are scheduled to hold across the country on Saturday.
According to the list, the candidates for the assembly seats in Lagos are jostling under 17 political parties across the 20 local government areas in the state.
