The Police Command in Kano state, has warned the public, particularly youths, against wild celebration of victory during the forthcoming gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Ibrahim Idris, gave the warning while briefing newsmen after his meeting with stakeholders in Kano on Thursday.
He said that any person who failed to abide by the order would be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
“Such behaviours contravene the traffic laws, therefore, people should be conversant with traffic rules and regulations,” Idris said.
