The gas explosion site
An explosion at Allen Gas, a cooking gas supplier, depot in Isolo, Ago Palace Way, in Lagos, is said to have caused multiple injuries. Sources said the explosion occurred while gas-laden cylinders were being off-loaded from a truck at the depot.
Contrary to reports on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter) that the blast killed many people, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Farinloye, told our correspondent that only three people were injured in the fire.
