Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose
The peace move led by Chief Afe Babalola (SAN), to find a lasting political solution to the crisis between Governor Ayodele Fayose and the two factions in the State House of Assembly seems to be dead on arrival as the meeting failed to hold because the All Progressives Congress lawmakers did not show as planned.
A source close to the meeting said the APC lawmakers said they will not meet with Fayose at Afe Babalola University, Ado EKiti, Ekiti state capital because of security reasons.
