Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase
The acting Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase has warned police officers against corrupt practices and has set up monitoring teams to check police performance.
In a statement issued by Emmanuel Ojukwu, police public relations officer, Arase said in enforcing the Police Anti-Corruption Initiative, he directed that IGP teams on monitoring of police performance should immediately commence the monitoring of activities and conduct of police officers on the highways, police stations and formations nationwide.
Arase expressed his resolve to rid the force of all forms of corruption and warns officers and men to desist from corrupt practices.
