Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano state has hinted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is scheming to hijack the leadership of the National Assembly from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Kwankwaso, a senator-elect urged the leaders APC to quickly agree on an acceptable zoning formula for the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives.
Kwankwaso stated this when he spoke to reporters in his office in Kano at the weekend.
He alleged that the PDP has hired mercenaries to infiltrate the APC with the sole aim of retaining the National Assembly’s leadership, particularly at the Senate.
