NEMA registers 11,449 Nigerian returnees from Niger

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), said it had registered 11, 449 Nigerian returnees from Niger Republic in Yobe.
This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Ezekiel Manzu, the Information Officer of the agency in Abuja on Tuesday.
It stated that out of the 11,449 returnees that were registered at a transit camp in Geidam, Yobe, 7,000 have been transported to their various states.
It stated further that some of them were identified as indigenes of Borno, Taraba, Jigawa, Kano, Benue, Bauchi, Sokoto, Niger, Kebbi, Zamfara, Katsina, Yobe, Gombe, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Imo, and Delta states.
