The Natioonal Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said on Monday that it had deployed more field workers to Borno to cater for the increased humanitarian needs due to Boko Haram insurgency.
NEMA North East Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Kanar stated this while briefing newsmen in Maiduguri.
Kanar said that the deployment was to boost camp management in the state which had continued to witness daily influx of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from communities being ravaged by the insurgents.
