NEMA to collaborate with Borno on IDPs’ welfare

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said on Saturday that it planned to collaborate with the Borno Government to enhance the welfare of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the state.
NAN reports that about 120, 000 IDPs, drawn from 22 out of the 27 local government areas of the state are taking shelter in 22 camps in Maiduguri.
NEMA Director of Search and Rescue, Air Commodore Charles Otegbade, made the disclosure while speaking with newsmen shortly after a meeting with officials of the state government in Maiduguri.
