100 trillion Zimbabwean dollar exchanged for 40 US cents

HARARE (Reuters) – In Zimbabwe, 100 trillion Zimbabwean dollar is exchanged for 40 US cent by central bank as it seeks to officially bury the worthless currency but on online auction site eBay, where the currency has become a collector’s item, a 100 trillion Zimbabwean dollar note is fetching up to $35, a small fortune compared with the 40 US cents on offer from the central bank.
