Bamisile told journalists that ‘Walk for Jesus’ was to remind the communities about the sporting programmes of the church and also to let the residents of Alimosho know that RCCG 7 is more interested in youth to take part in sporting activities of the church.
“The ‘Walk for Jesus’ was organised to let the communities know that RCCG Province 7 wants to float football academy very soon so that we can have more youth in the church. We believe that football is the king of sports in Nigeria and we are planning to have a football academy before September.
”We want the youth to come to our church to exhibit their God-given talents in other sports so that our Province can compete favourably with other Provinces in sporting competitions in Lagos. I must say that we are happy that many of our youth in the church turned up for the event and it was a huge success,” he said.
Youth Pastor in charge of Province 7, Pastor Femi Oyewunmi expressed satisfaction with the numbers of youth that took part in the event, saying that more sporting activities will soon be organised to discover more talents among the youth in the church. …Read More
