Kano Pillars hit Abia Warriors 3-0

Kano Pillars FC on Sunday defeated visiting Abia Warriors FC 3-0 in the Nigeria Professional Football League week 29 encounter.
The match, which was played at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofarmata, Kano, saw the Pillars outplaying the visitors in all departments of the match.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Moses Akapai put Pillars ahead when he scored in the 48th minute while
substitute Azeez Shobowale doubled the lead in the 81st minute.
Another subtitute, Nafiu Ibrahim, netted the third goal from close range in the 89th minute to seal victory for the home team.
The Coach of Kano Pillars, Muhammad Babaganaru, told NAN that he was delighted over the performance of his players.
“We gave our best and everybody can also see the improvement in the team’s performance.
“I can assure that we will continue to improve on this,” he said.
Abia Warriors Handler, Ladan Bosso, assured that his team would improve on its performance in its remaining matches to place it at “the desired height”.
