MaharajiPresident Muhammadu Buhari has been urged to set up structures and policies that will influence politicians to be more interested in Nigeria’s progress.
Sat Guru Maharaj Ji, Head of One Love Family, made the call during Special Anniversary Celebration of Golden Age Festival (Goldfeast 2015), in Ibadan on Thursday.
Maharaj Ji said “Buhari is leading Nigeria at a very important stage in its unstoppable evolution to greatness.
“Buhari is in a position to re-engineer the emergence of a new way of thinking among politicians on national issues.”
He then called on him to ignore ethnic temptations and religious sentiments.
Maharaj Ji described Federal Character as a way of feeding idlers and spoilers to the detriment of competent brains.
He described zoning of public offices in Nigeria as a political practice that robs the country of the ability to build the right political capital it needs to drive itself upward.
“Every man must qualify for the position he seeks to occupy at any level of leadership, and must compete for it”, Maharaj Ji said.
He added that zoning and federal character were liabilities to the natural right to greatness. …Read More
