The home-based Super Eagles of Nigeria have begun the second phase of their preparation for Rwanda 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Pretoria, South Africa.
The team, who will feature in CHAN, which kicks off on 16 January in Kigali, arrived the South African capital city Saturday with the plan to train at a location that has the same high altitude as the one they will experience in Rwanda.
A tweet posted on the official tweeter handle of the Super Eagles revealed that the team and their coaches did not have the luxury to rest after their flight from Lagos down to Johannesburg before connecting Pretoria, but have to begin training on Sunday morning.

The tweeter handle also posted some photos of the training.

In a tweet on @thenff, the federation said: “Clarification: The Super Eagles B delegation to pre CHAN training camp is traveling to Pretoria, not Cape Town.”
