Legislators more open, transparent than executive – NASS

The official Twitter Account of the Nigeria’s National Assembly has argued that the National Assembly is more transparent and open than the executive.
In Nigeria, the executive is led by President Muhammadu Buhari while the national assembly made up by the senate and house of representatives are led by Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara respectively.
In a series of tweet, the official account said: “Legislatures are more open and transparent than executive agencies, and the legislators themselves are more accessible to constituents.
Another tweet read: “Legislatures are the most open and transparent of the three branches of government, adding that, “general sessions of parliaments are open to public and press.”
