Andy Murray reacts after securing a point
Andy Murray has overpowered hard-fighting Spanish opponent David Ferrer to qualify for the semi-final of the Australian Open.
In the first of the quarter-finals played in Melbourne today, Murray beat Ferrer 6-3 6-7 6-2 6-3.
He now awaits the outcome of the second quarter-final match between France’s Gael Monfils and Canadian star, Milos Raonic to know his semi-final opponent.
