Emenchetta and Prince Oluyemi Ibrahim Olabulo in Islamabad
Nigerians living in Pakistan have elected new officers to conduct their affairs, under the aegis of Nigerian Community in Pakistan, NCP.
Charles Emenchetta is the elected president, while Prince Oluyemi Ibrahim Olabulo is the vice-president.
Other members of the executive have also been elected.
At a visit to the Acting Nigerian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Ambassador Abdul Lateef Oyede, he felicitated with the group for concluding free and fair elections.
Oyede urged for collaboration with the Commission to promote and protect the interests of Nigeria in the country.
Emencheta gave an assurance that NCP will work in close cooperation to better promote Nigeria’s image in Pakistan, apart from enhancing better understanding between two brotherly countries.
Vice President Olabulo said that NCP was established in 2006 under a Constitution approved by the Commission to promote shared vision and common objectives of south-south cooperation between Nigeria and Pakistan. The tenure of the office for the elected officers is for two years.
Olabulo said the NCP is playing a major role of educating the Nigerians coming to Pakistan, strengthening business activities and promoting the good image of Nigeria to people of Pakistan. …Read More
