British Council presents Lagos Theatre Festival 2016

From 23 to 28 February, the metropolitan city of Lagos will be hosting the biggest Arts gathering the city has ever witnessed as the 2016 edition of British Council Lagos Theatre Festival holds.
In its third edition, the six-day Festival will be an extravaganza of Music, Dance, Spoken Word, and Theatre performance.
It has been designed to be the largest outdoor theatre festival in Nigeria taking place across 20 venues in Lagos including British Council, National Arts Theatre, Freedom Park, Terra Kulture, Bogobiri, Muson Centre and University of Lagos.
The festival will feature over 100 performances from producers such as Bani Productions, Comic Republic, Creative Arts Collection UNILAG, Make It Happen Productions, Thespian Family Theatre, Troopers Arts, and Women In Arts.
There will also be four international productions by some groups from the United Kingdom, as well as special workshops for actors, creative writers, directors and producers. …Read More
