Guests help Foluke Daramola-Salako to cut her birthday cake
A public lecture with the theme ‘Foluke Daramola-Salako; an iconic life in Nation Building and Celebrating Motherhood and its Significant Values’ has been organised to mark the birthday of the nollywood actress on Monday, 15 February.
The event attracted Nollywood stars, activists, students, parents of the late kid actor Olamide David who died on 16 January, 2016, friends, Ministers of God and well wishers to celebrate the symbolic birthday of President of Passion Against Rape and Abuse in Africa (PARA) Foluke Daramola-Salako who turned a year older on 15 February.
The Guest Speaker at the birthday which was used to remember the late Olamide David, the kid actor, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, President, Women Arise, paid glowing tribute to the late Olamide David while advising students to emulate the late kid star actor.
Okei-Odumakin in her remarks also described the celebrant, Foluke Daramola-Salako as “Our Own”, meaning how dearly the iconic personality and celebrity is to her and the rest of Women Arise.
The Guest Speaker thanked the celebrant and challenged the students and all present to emulate the contribution of Foluke Daramola-Salako in nation building.
The mother of the late kid actor, Bukky David, said he died yound but left a legacy of what values should be.
The late kid star’s father, Mr. Adekunle David, said Olamide had a passion to impact his generation and lived up to it.
The celebrant’s husband Rotarian Olukayode Salako thanked all the guest who honoured their invitation and prayed for sound health and long life for his wife.
After the cutting of the cake the celebrant who was so overwhelmed, she thanked all the guests for making her day.
Daramola-Salako also encouraged Mr. and Mrs. David to always celebrate their late kid star actor son Olamide Davide who lives on. …Read More
