Eko Atlantic city in Lagos, Nigeria and the Lagos Polo Club have teamed up once again to host the second polo tournament at Eko Atlantic in Lagos which will be held over four days, from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th April, 2016.
Last year, the city hosted its first polo tournament; the first in West Africa, paraded sponsors such as; Access bank, Eko Energy Estate and Eko Pearl Nigeria Limited, while the likes of Moet and Hennessey, Samsung, Qatar Airways and Coscharis were supporters of the event.
To help celebrate the momentous occasion, Access Bank offered new account openers a chance to win tickets to the prestigious Polo tournament at Eko Atlantic.
Also up for grabs were a weekend stay for 10 couples at Eko Hotel and Suites, and a weeklong holiday in either Dubai or London for two couples, courtesy of Qatar Airways. The organisers of this year’s polo – Black Opal Limited have promised participants and attendees an unforgettable experience.
The tournament consisted of 6 teams playing for the coveted Access Bank Cup. The teams that competed were Teams Access, Caverton, Veuve Clicquot, Lagos Polo Club, Azuri Peninsula and Power Horse with Lagos Polo Club emerging as victors!
