No fewer than 46 referees, including 26 amateurs from Jigawa would participate in the National Referees Association (NRA) promotion examination on Aug. 13.
The Chairman, Jigawa Referees Council, Alhaji Aliyu Baita, Saturday in Dutse said that the exercise would take place in Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse.
He said eight of the referees would participate in the examination that would move them Category II Category I, while 12 of them would sit for the examination to move them from Category III to Category II.
The chairman said the rest amateurs, known as referees in training, would sit for promotion to Category III.
He said the NRA would send its representatives to invigilate the examination and urged participants to work hard to pass the examination.
