Kebbi completes transportation of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia

Alhaji Bala Sakaba, the Kebbi Chairman of Pilgrims Welfare Agency, on Friday, said the state had completed the transportation of 4,307 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj.

Sakaba in Birnin Kebbi said that the pilgrims were directly flown to Medina.

He said that they were transported by Max Airline from the Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport, Birnin Kebbi, in nine flights.

The chairman added that about 3,807 of those transported were from different local government areas, while 500 were from Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area.

He commended intending pilgrims from the state for their peaceful conduct during screening and departure procedures.

He also commended the management of the airline for providing ultra-modern aircraft and keeping to schedule.
