The Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has said that Bitumen exploration would soon start in Ondo state and other parts of the country.
Fayemi made the disclosure to journalists after he was conferred with an honorary doctorate degree in Public Administration at the 5th Convocation of Achievers University, Owo.
The minister said that plans were underway to begin exploration in Ondo, Ogun and other parts of the country.
Fayemi said he was happy to be recognised with the award of honorary doctorate degree by the university.
“I am delighted with the honorary recognition.
“I commend the work that has started here; it is soon going to be a recognisable school among its peers.’’
