Winners have emerged in this year’s Adedas Boxing Club championship held in Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria at the weekend.
In the 19kg category, Abudulazeez Farouk of Success Boxing Club defeated Muhamad Adedas of Adedas Boxing Club while Adesewa Oshoba of Eba Murphy Boxing Club defeated Bolaji Adepoju in 50kg category.
However, in 61kg category, Oladade Ismaila of Forward ever Boxing Club defeated Salami Olabode of Bass Fighter Boxing Club in a knockout.
The championship, which took place at Olaogun, a surbub of Ogun State, Southwest, Nigeria on Sunday, according to the organizer, Prince Adedipe Ewenla, is to discover young talents in the profession and a way of contributing to sport development in the country.
