A security company, King David Security Limited has denounced the fake police officer arrested by the taskforce few days ago over impersonation, saying that the company never owed him any money as he claimed.
The taskforce arrested Faith Sunday John on Wednesday for impersonating the police, claiming to be a police inspector to extort money from the public.
John had been caught impersonating his deceased father who had died as an Assistant Superintendent of Police. He claimed to have ventured into crime because he was being owed salaries by King David Security Limited.
However, the company, in a statement issued and signed by Richard Ekele, Public Affairs department said the company never owed John any money and that he ventured into crime on his own volition.
