Manchester City moved up to third in the Premier League with a narrow victory over Leicester City.

David Silva opened the scoring for the hosts by stroking in from inside the box, before Gabriel Jesus’ penalty.

The visitors pulled a goal back through Shinji Okazaki’s stunning volley on the stroke of half-time.

The Foxes could have levelled but Riyad Mahrez’s penalty was disallowed for a double hit – striking the ball onto his standing foot as he slipped over, BBC reports.
