Retired Group Captain. Abubakar Bala, District Head of Tsiga, Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State, says he will soon inaugurate committees on demarcation of cattle routes to avert herdsmen-farmers clashes.
Bala, who is also Jarman Katsina, said this on Wednesday during his tour of Kabomo and Tsiga communities which are under his chiefdom.
He, however, warned that any person who fomented trouble in the area would be apprehended by the security agencies and made to face the wrath of the law.
He cautioned people against encroachment on lands and advised farmers to always harvest their crops whenever they were ripe enough for harvests.
Bala urged the people to eschew all forms of restiveness, stressing that farmers, herdsmen and other residents should to continue to live together in peace, so as to boost the socio-economic development of…
