The Lagos State Government says it has completed the construction of 83.92km of roads spread across the state in the last one year.
This was disclosed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Temidayo Erinle during the Ministerial Press Briefing of the Ministry to commemorate the second year in office of Governor Akinwumi Ambode’s administration.
He said the completed 83.92 km of roads were spread around the three Senatorial districts of the State to ease movement of people and goods across the State.
Erinle stated that the State was presently undergoing construction of roads totalling 99.147 km in both the rural and urban areas of the State to complement the completed ones as the governor had approved the construction of more roads to ease traffic and improve on the economy of the State.
