Alhaji Sanisu Maijama’a, the Deputy National Chairman (North), Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), has stressed the need for increased training for Nigeria police in community policing in the country.
Maijama’a made the call in Bauchi in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
He said “there is nothing better than training of the police force because all what the police need is training and retraining, especially in modern way of policing.
“That is why the PCRC as an association is ready to assist in this regard. It was set up by the Nigeria Police under the Nigerian Police Act.
“Our major task is to support and collaborate with communities and the police to ensure proper policing.”
