The Police in Jigawa has arrested five suspects over the death of their friend in Ringim Local Government Area of the state.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Jinjiri Abdu, confirmed the arrest in Dutse on Monday.
Jinjiri said that one the suspects allegedly attacked the victim identified as Ibrahim Hussani with knife.
He said that the incident occurred on July 12, at about 10:30 p.m. in Ringim town.
“On July 12, we received a report that the victim was allegedly attacked with knife by one of the suspects.
“It was gathered that the incident happened after one of the suspects’ phone got missing.
“It was in the middle of the argument that one of the suspects attacked the diseased with knife,” the PPRO said.
