Corps members deployed to Edo State have been warned to desist from unauthorized traveling during their service year in the State.
The Director-General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier-General Suleman Kazaure, gave the warning Monday at the Scheme’s Temporary Orientation Camp, Okada, Ovia North-East Local Government Area of the State.
He disclosed that the Scheme has lost a great number of its members to road accidents as a result of unauthorized traveling embarked upon by Corps members.
Kazaure, who was represented by the Acting Director, Corps Welfare and Inspectorate, Mrs. Josephine Okonghae, on an inspection of the facilities, urged corps members to accept their postings to their primary places of assignments in good fate, in order to settle down and contribute their quota to the development of the respective…
