The Speaker of the Kogi House of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole, has urged Nigerians to have confidence in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari to address the economic and political challenges facing the country.
Kolawole gave the advice in a message to commemorate the 57th independence anniversary of the country, signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Femi Olugbemi on Sunday in Lokoja.
According to the speaker, Nigeria as a country can only remain strong in unity and peace with people having faith in the ability of the present administration in the country to improve their wellbeing and move the nation forward.
Kolawole also asked Nigerians to discourage hate speeches, saying that the country needed peace more at this time ever than before as it was coming out of economic recession.
