The Yobe Agency for Community and Social Project on Friday launched a Programme to construct 20 houses for 20 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Kukareta and Bulturam villages to support their resettlement process.
Alhaji Goni Babagana, General Manager of the agency, stated this in Kukareta village at the launching of the Group Development Project of the agency.
Babagana said the project was categorised into two groups for IDPs who had returned to their communities and those who decided to settle in their new places of abode.
“The projects are for two groups of IDPs who have decided to settle in Kukareta where they took refuge, and returnees of Bulturam-Bulin in Damaturu and Gujba local government areas.
