A 600 Level Dentistry student, of the Lagos State University’s College of Medicine (LASUCOM), Ibrahim Akanni Shuaib emerged the winner of the 2017 Ready Set Work Business Pitch Competition at the graduation event held on Tuesday at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Deputy Governor, Dr. Oluranti Adebule, who represented the Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode at the ceremony, presented a cheque of N1 million to Ibrahim and his partner, Bukola Esther Akinfolarin, who through their firm, Go-RECYCLEIT, emerged the best out of the 23 business ideas, innovations and firms for their award winning innovation.
As part of the prize, GO-RECYCLEIT would also get a total of N600,000 for six months. The money will be released in tranches of N100,000 monthly. The business would also be assisted through incubation by the…
