The Police at the Ikoyi Division, Ikoyi of the Lagos State Police Command, Lagos, Nigeria have arrested a Ghanaian housemaid, Anna Sunday, 27, for allegedly conniving with others still at large to steal her employer’s jewelries valued at N800,000 and sold them off property to Mr Femi Olabode.
The incident, according to the Police occurred at 5A Ibrahim Odofin Estate, Agungi, Lekki, Lagos where the complainant resides.
Police alleged that the complainant reported to the Divisional Police Officer, DPO in charge of Ikoyi Division, SP Tijani Mustapha that he employed his housemaid to be taking care of his aged mother living at Osborne Foreshore, Ikoyi, Lagos.
According to the police, the complainant stated that on the day of the incident, his housemaid stole the spare key of his wife bedroom at Lekki, Lagos and used it to open her bedroom to steal her…
