Oyo State Government has vowed to eradicate any form of quack practices in all private medical facilities and government-owned hospitals.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan made the pledge while receiving Oyo State House Committee on Health, which paid him a visit on budget performance, in his office in Ibadan.
Adeduntan explained that the expectations of the general public and indigenes of Oyo State are high as they want something good to showcase the Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s administration.
He added that the activities of the State’s Task Force which was set up to sanitize private health facilities in the health sector are yielding positive results as some of the private health practitioners have complied with the rules and regulations guiding their operations.
