A Federal high court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Thursday temporarily forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria Flat 7b Osborne Towers, Ikoyi where the sum of $43.4 million and N23,218,000 were recovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC sometimes ago.
The EFCC had earlier named Mrs Folashade Oke, wife of the dismissed Director General of Nigeria Intelligence Agency, Mr Ayodele Oke as owner of the property.
The order of the court was sequel to an ex-parte application filed and argued before the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes commission EFCC legal Officer and Mr Rotimi Oyedepo.
