Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Tuesday thrash Argentina 4-2 in an International friendly match played in Russia, host of the 2018 World Cup.
A brace from Arsenal sensation, Alex Iwobi and a goal apiece from Kelechi Ihenacho and Leon Balogun gave Nigeria the needed victory.
Argentina opened scoring in the 27th minute of the game through Banega and doubled it in the 36th minute through Sergio Aguero.
Ihenacho scored a superb free-kick on 44 minutes of the first half to reduce the tally to 2-1.
The Eagles soared back to life in the second half when Iwobi equalised in the 52nd minute to make it 2-2.
Leon Balogun made it 3-2 for Nigeria in the 54th minute of the game while Iwobi scored his second goal of the game to make it 4-2 and sealed the victory for Nigeria.
