The management of Unity Bank Plc, Lagos has dragged their customer, Adeagbo Bayonle, 37, before a Lagos Magistrate Court for allegedly conniving with one Dayo Ogunseyitan now at large to hack into the account of the bank and used ATM card to steal the sum of $64,822.97 from various account of the bank.
A Police source said that following the theft, the management of Unity Bank reported the matter through a petition to the Commissioner of Police, CP in charge of the Police Special Fraud Unit, PSFU, Ikoyi, Lagos, Ibrahim Lamorde who directed a team led by ASP Lazarus Nurus to fish out the suspects.
The Police team, according to the source tracked and arrested the accused at a hide out following a tip off while his accomplice managed to escaped.
The source said that the Police had launched a manhunt for the arrest of the fleeing Ogunseyitan.
