Ace Nigerian musician 2baba in an interview with the Guardian News on Saturday, January 6 spoke about why his much anticipated #VoteNotFight Protest was canceled after it had gained national attention.
A lot of people who had indicated interest in the protest were disappointed when the singer came up to say he will no longer be participating in the protest. Although the ”Rain drops” crooner said it was for a good reason we hope Nigerians can agree with him as well. Read his own side of the story below.
“The protest, I had to cancel it, for very genuine reasons. Many people were disappointed and I understand why but at the same time, I don’t know if they were in my shoes at that point in time, what they would have done.
“I don’t regret nothing, I just take it that it was for a good reason and even the cancellation was for a good reason,” he said.
