The National Working Committee (NWC) of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed shock over the killing of its Publicity Secretary in Adamawa, Mr Sam Zadock, by gunmen on Tuesday.
In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, the party called on security agencies in the state conduct full investigation into the incident.
Zadock was among persons that died in the latest sectarian violence involving herdsmen and farmers in Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa.
The party said that the investigation was imperative, particularly in the face of rising speculations over the circumstances surrounding his murder.
The party said that Zadock was known for “his patriotism, dedication to national development and the pursuit of the revitalization of our repositioned party in that state.
