The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola has inaugurated the members of Governing Council, Federal School of Surveying located in Oyo State.
While inaugurating the school’s governing council on Tuesday in Abuja. Fashola emphasised that high level of professionalism and spirit of teamwork in surveying were germane to enhancing the nation’s economic development.
According to the minister, activities of professional surveyors was critical to the achievement of the objectives contained in the Federal Government’s Economic Growth and Recovery Plan.
Fashola recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari, in his New Year message had reiterated his commitment towards rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure so as to boost economic development.
