A Lebanese national, Wessan Mansour, 54, has been remanded at Ikoyi Prison, Lagos till he fulfilled the bail conditions granted him by an Igbosere Magistrate Court for allegedly failing to appear in court to attend to his case of alleged fraud and stealing on the adjourned date without reasonable excuse.
The defendant was arrested by the operatives of the Zone 2 Command, Onikan, Lagos and charged before an Igbosere Magistrate Court on a two-count charge of felony to wit, fraud and stealing and was admitted to bail.
Police counsel, Fransis Igbinosa informed the court in charge No A/20/2018 that the defendant, a Lebanese was arraigned before Court 7, Igbosere Magistrate Court in charge No G/7/2016 on 22 December, 2016 and was granted bail while the defendant was directed to be attending court sittings on every adjourned date till the case was finally…
