Nigeria’s female national Basketball team, D’Tigress has beaten Argentina in the ongoing Federation of International Basketball Association, FIBA, tournament to qualify for the quarter-final.
D’Tigress won the game by 75-70 against Argentina.
Nigeria became the first ever African team to win two games in a single FIBA Basketball World Cup.
“We have advanced to the next stage which is “qualifiers” for the quarter final,” a tweet on D’Tigress twitter page, @DtigressNG, said.
