The presidency has countered the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba, on the postings of some senior police officers.
Contrary to an earlier announcement by the police high command which redeployed Tunde Ogunsakin, an Assistant Inspector General of Police to Rivers State, the presidency and has ordered the immediate redeployment of Ogunsakin back to his base in Calabar, Cross Rivers State.
The presidency, according to sources ordered Ogunsakin out for allegedly failing to do the bidding of the Peoples Democratic Party.
